My wife Abby and I started The Cake Pop Kitchen in May of 2022 after deciding to sell our cake pops at a small trade show here in Gillette. We sold over 350 pops in just 3 hours! We started with some traditional flavors I had brought to potlucks at work over the years. My wife designed the logo and we went to work together building something great. 

Within a month I had made the decision to leave my job at the Sheriff's office to pursue our dream full time. 

Over the last couple years we have grown into a well known name in our small town and we are currently in multiple businesses around Gillette and the surrounding towns and growing. In May of 2023 we decided to make the leap into a commercial kitchen to widen our customer base.

Our dream is to build a brand based solely on cake pops. Although cake pops are sold at a number of coffee shops, they are usually specific to that shop with no real branding. We strive to build a brand that is both recognizable and delicious.

Our cake pops are full of flavor as we use only high quality ingredients including Ghirardelli products.

In May of 2024 we signed a lease on our very own store front!
